Meet Comfort

Welcome Future Leaders! 

 

Hi, I'm name is Comfort and I bring a multifaceted background to both health care and personal development. I am a registered nurse, mentor, life coach, motivational speaker and aspiring entrepreneur. I hold two bachelor's degree and plan to further my education by pursing advanced studies in leadership or a Family Nurse Practitioner ( FNP) to Doctor of Nursing ( DNP) pathway. My long term goal is to establish my own health care practice and nonprofit organizations, with the mission of making meaningful impact in healthcare and creating positive change that reaches and transform millions of lives.

I have served in a variety of leadership roles, and have mentored prospective hires and nursing students through shadowing experiences. I am an active member of multiple committees and had the privilege of serving as the Co-Chair of our Unit Council within the Shared Governance structure at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, the #1 Hospital in Pennsylvania. I am currently still an active member on our Unit Council.

 

My love for working with youth led me to also work as a per diem school nurse, something I truly cherish. My purpose goes far beyond " patching up boo-boos". It's about nuturing young minds and hearts as they grow into the person they dream of becoming.

I believe leadership is not defined by titles or positions, but by purpose, influence and impact. My passion lies in advocating for others, amplifying diverse voices, and mentoring the next generation of healthcare leaders.
